Alvaro Carreno grew up around farming but pursued other work for many years, including the oil field. At 45, he made the decision to step back from that life. A stroke changed everything and pushed him to seek healing in a different way. He built a greenhouse in his backyard and began germinating seed trees as therapy. Working with trees helped him recover his health. His family noticed his passion and dedication, and soon they joined him. What began as personal healing grew into a shared mission. The operation expanded to 25 acres, and Alvaro partnered with other specialists in the field. Today, the farm produces quality trees for customers across Texas. For Alvaro and his family, Eden Tree Farm has achieved three important goals: it helped him overcome a serious health challenge, it reunited his family in meaningful work, and it brings joy to customers who receive healthy, quality trees at fair prices, delivered on time.
